Welcome to Braly Elementary School

Dear Braly Elementary Families,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Braly Elementary School. My name is Tereasa Smith, and I bring 28 years of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, vice principal, principal, and district level leader. Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.

It is a true privilege to join the Braly community—a school known for its dedicated staff, supportive families, and enthusiastic learners. As I step into this new role, I look forward to building strong, collaborative relationships with all of you. I believe that when schools and families work together, children succeed not only academically but also socially and emotionally.

In the coming weeks and months, I hope to meet each of you—at school events, in the classroom, or simply in passing during drop-off and pick-up. My door is always open, and I welcome your thoughts, questions, and ideas. Together, we will continue to build on Braly’s tradition of excellence and ensure that every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
